Launched by HRH The Prince of Wales on 11 January 2021, the Terra Carta lists 10 action articles for the decade towards an inclusive, prosperous and sustainable future. Ammique® has pledged to support the Terra Carta, its principles and action articles, which complement the company’s existing sustainability commitments.

The Ammique bed is an ergonomically engineered 'body contouring' sleep system designed to provide consistent support in tune with body movement irrespective of changing weight and shape.
The surface of the Ammique support system comprises of many thousands of small plastic domed caps, each cap is fixed onto a rod. All of the rods pass through a support/guide bar and half are held within an extension spring allowing upward and downward movement. The rods are loosely linked together both across and down the bed and move interdependently.
Designed with hygiene as a priority, the built-in plastic components feature Biomaster antimicrobial protection to let sleepers rest assured that the bed will maintain a fresh profile even after years of use.
The beds are guaranteed for a lifetime, meanwhile the built-in Biomaster antimicrobial protection works 24/7 to inhibit the growth of harmful and malodorous bacteria.
Every bed also contains a covert tag containing Verimaster security technology which validates the presence of Biomaster in every bed, also acting as a quality control and anti-counterfeit tool.
In 2020 the Ammique bed was selected as a finalist in the Best of British Product Design category following an annual nationwide search to find the most influential designers, architects, hoteliers and suppliers operating in Britain.
